SWOT Analysis(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)

Year 10:

Strengths- I had some however very little previous experience working with garageband.

Weaknesses- I had no past musical composition/ song structuring experience, eg. I didn't know any musical terms or how to structure songs to make them sound appealing. This meant i had an opportunity to practice and lear.

Opportunities- I am now able to freely practice and experiment with composing and develop my skills allowing me to create more complex songs in the future.

Threats- I can only compose at school which doesn't allow me to improve my compositions at home, limiting my time and slightly my ability, however i can come back after school on thursday to use the ipads and continue with my compositions.

SWOT Reflection 

Year 11:

I have overcome my weaknesses by practicing garageband at home and experimenting with several different compositions on the Ipads during lesson time. I also watched some videos on how to compose songs using tempo and changing the key it's in according to the genre.

New Year 11 Targets:

To fully complete 5-6 compositions with lyrics which I will write at home and bring into class so I can implement them with the tune of my compositions. I will get inspiration of the lyrics by listening to other songs in that genre such as country and house.
